This month has been so incredibly difficult for me.  For us.  I don't think I have ever experienced this much stress before.  I am having a hard time dealing with it.  I am still walking, which helps slightly.  Work has been a welcome diversion.  I dread the weekends and the time I am at home because that is when the worry gets the best of me.

Joe has been making an effort to reduce my stress as much as he can.  He drives me to work and picks me up.  He takes me to my appointments.  He does all of the cooking, and cleaning and laundry.  He even brings me breakfast or lunch in bed when the thought of getting up is too much for me.

He has even taken me to Disneyland a couple of times, hoping to cheer me up.  Yesterday we only stayed for 2 hours.  We rode the monorail, and the train and went on Buzz Lightyear.  We sat on a bench in the sun and people watched and then we came home.

The first time we went was a couple of weeks ago, before I was hospitalized.  We spent the majority of our time at CA Adventure.  We went on Tower of Terror and rode CA Screamin' three times.  It's one of our favorite rides there.

It was much less crowded a couple weeks ago than it was yesterday.  With school getting out, it will continue to become more crowded and we will probably not go back until the Fall.  Our passes are blocked out for  most of the summer anyway.

These are totally out of order because Blogger was not cooperating and I have zero patience to fix them right now.
Empty Main Street a couple of weeks ago

Listening to the party  line in one of the shops

Love this Rasta Mickey hat
We rode the train around the park. It was nice to just sit and enjoy the views of the park.

First attempt at a self protrait
Joe trying to ruin my self portrait.  Mission accomplished :)
Ahhhhhh.....that's better
Matterhorn as viewed from the Monorail, which we rode into the park from
Dowtown Disney(we park there for the free parking.  Shhhhhh..........don't tell!)
I love the goats at the petting zoo.  I went around to each one and found out their names(they are stamped onto their leather collars) and spent a few minutes with each one.  They are so sweet.

Give me an "A"

It's Indiana Joe

We did some window shopping. I loved these mugs
Ummmmm...................okayyyyyyyy

Again, with the pictures out of order.  From a couple of weeks ago.  Mickey was right out in front of Main street so no need to go wait in line at his house in Toontown. And there was no line either.  Love that.

It was good to get out of the house a couple of days and forget about some of the stress for a short while.

Disneyland Part 1

We visited Disneyland last week one last time before the New Year.   It was crowded and we didn't stay long.  Rode "It's a Small World" and looked at the decorations and came home.  We just love the Christmas decoration at Disneyland at this time of year.

I took far too many pictures inside "Small World"

It's just so festive!

These are in no particular order either :)

Dopey.  Sadly, my actual ears look very similar to these.

Tree in Toontown.  Love how colorful it is.

Santa had a big long line but poor Mrs. Clause was standing out front looking lonely so I took pity on her and stopped to pose for a picture.  She insisted we say "Cookies" instead of "Cheese" because Santa prefers cookies over cheese.  Heh.

I have a nasty head cold this weekend so I have gotten nothing accomplished.  I have so much to do before leaving for my sister's house on Wednesday and no motivation to do it.  The sinus pain and pressure is horrible. I can only hope it passes quickly.  I keep telling myself it's better to get the sickness out of the way before Christmas.  Still not fun.

Part 2 of Disneyland is below this post

Disneyland Part 2

Goofy.  I heart Goofy.  Had to cut Joe out of this one.

I had to have a picture with Pluto.  I was mad because Joe cut his cute antlers off and he said "It's hard to take a picture of you because you get mad if your boobs are in it!"  Heh.  He's right.

New Orlean's Square has our favorite decorations every year.

There is a new store in New Orlean's Square that has a shop dedicated to "The Frog Princess"  I loved these lanterns.

DIsney with The Smith and the Teague Families

The Smith and Teague families planned a short vacay to So. CA to do Disney last week. You know I had to be a part of that!

I didn't take that many pictures, which is a sure sign that I had a great time. Having too much fun to stop for photo taking!

Family picture. Cameron was deliberately trying to ruin the picture. He succeeded. Heh. And Grace is acting silly. Shocker.

Thunder Mountain

Karen and Kailee joined us for a couple of rides and some lunch. SO fun to see them again!

Grace and Kailee on the "Winnie the Pooh" ride.

Treats, Disney style

These were called "Tigger Tails". Which is kind of gross if you really think about it. :)

We all met up at this really cool Mongolian BBQ restaurant in "The Garden Walk" shopping center for dinner on Thursday night. It was yummy.

Grace and Ryleigh in front of the billboard at the shopping center.

Waiting for our food to cook. I don't know why Stacey isn't looking and/or smiling. I guess she didn't hear me say "Hey everyone, look over here!" :)

Our food cooking. It was sooooo good.

They had $11.00 pitchers of margaritas. No, I did not drink the whole thing!

Such a great time was had.

It was crowded and much too hot for my taste and I have to say I'm a little Disneyed-out. I'm not sure if we'll be back before the holidays. We were able to trade in Joe's free birthday ticket for the basic annual pass so you know we'll be back, probably sooner rather than later ;)

Nobody does Christmas like Disney

This is how I spent my day off. Yes, I am very lucky.

See how happy Joe is to be having his picture taken with Santa? The depth of his joy does not come across in the picture :) We were the only people in line that did not have children. It didn't stop me!

They put snow on the castle for the first time ever.

Lights in New Orleans Square. One of my favorite places in D-Land.

The castle is stunning at night.
